We're Back!

We are back! Did you miss us? Did you even know we were gone for a minute? We took a mental health break recently and we highly recommend you trying this. The lit mag grind wore us down a bit and it was just that small break that really helped us refresh and recharge.

Welcome to Issue 10. This is a special issue because it’s the tenth issue. We have hit double digits! A big moment in the life of any prepubescent child OR Canadian Literary Magazine. We bring this issue to you while the world still insists on being the baffling ordeal that it is. People are going through a lot. Taking a break is easier said than done more often than not. One thing that we know for sure is that reading the submissions this time around was such an enjoyable experience. It felt like meeting new friends, like meeting new members of the family.

We didn't name the magazine Funicular because we were obsessed with the vehicle, but we do think they’re neat. The name seems more fitting than ever this time around because Issue 10 is filled with writers in motion: walking, driving, traveling, visiting family, staying in motels, and just getting outside. We don’t often notice this sort of a theme but we hope you notice it too and enjoy it, wherever you are in the world.
